Thank you for the fascinating presentation.
In this study, short implants are being utilized, but do you believe that the length and diameter of the implant fixture affect patient satisfaction?

Thank you for the improtant qusetion.
Every implant-assisted removable partial denture design were slightly different from patinet to patient.
However, mostly the direct retainers on the implant placement side, RPA clasp with mesial rest were used on the abutment tooth.

Thank you for the inspiringly question.
As you mentioned, short implants were utilized in this study with only one diameter and length (Φ4.1 mm, 6.0 mm). Therefore, with the limitation of this study, affection to patient satisfaction by implant fixture are still ambiguous.
However, with the utilization of short implants, patients that are not adapt to normal implant fixtures were able to receive the implant placement and be able to use implant-assisted removable dentures. Refer to the results, patient satisfaction are improved with the use of IARPD compare to the removable partial dentures.

With the utilization of the short implants, to some degree patient satisfaction were affected.
