Did you think of the metal occlusal design for MA#26 in Case 1?
Fig 6 shows that the clearance is not sufficient due to the height of magnetic attachment.
Thank you for your question and good advice. We also believe that the use of metal teeth should be considered not only from the point of view of preventing dehiscence, but also as a countermeasure against wear of the artificial teeth.

Although the design of the IRPD must be based on an understanding of the characteristics of magnetic attachments, this method is extremely simple, yet highly accurate and has many other advantages. The method of placing the MAs is thought to be one of the reasons why IRPDs using magnetic attachments have not become more widely used. I hope that the excellent Japanese magnetic attachments will spread around the world by using this method.
