Thank you for your wonderful presentation.
What I felt from the long-term follow-up was that the number of remaining teeth decreased as a result. I also thought that regular perio control was important.
Dear Prof. Masumi, thank you for your comment. I think that is exactly right, as you said. Especially for abutment teeth with magnetic attachments in the root cap type, the condition is often poor, so regular perio-control is very important to keep them alive as long as possible.

If there is an abutment tooth with an unknown prognosis, it is an appropriate treatment policy to make a temporary restoration and observe the progress.
What are the definite criteria you thik for making or not making temporary denture ?

It is very difficult to determine definite criteria. If there is an abutment tooth with an unknown prognosis, I think that in all cases, as far as possible, the temporary denture should be made and the progress should be observed. After that, the definitive denture should be made.
