Thank you for your presentation.
I learned a lot. I would like to know the results with magnetic attachments other than 5213.

Thank you for your question, Professor Masumi.
We have only investigated the resistance of magnetic attachments for Physio Magnet 5213. However, it is presumed that cup-yoke type magnetic attachments behave the same as the results of this study, even if their size, attractive force, and brand are different. The behavior of sandwich-type magnetic attachments can be different, so that is the next subject of research.

Thank you for your good presentation.
I wonder whether the surface abrasion occurred with long-term clinical use affects the the resistance force against lateral displacement.

Thank you for your comment, Professor Aita.
A mating face of an unused magnetic attachment is mirror-finished. The surface abrasion increases the surface roughness of the mating face. An increase in surface roughness leads to an increase in the coefficient of friction. Therefore, long-term clinical use will increase the resistance force against lateral displacement.
